It’s almost December!

Wow, so I have been a very good girl about going to the gym for the past week and a half, but I ate dinner around 8:30, and I was letting it digest while I watched a few episodes of Sailor Moon (because it’s really bad to exercise on a full stomach!), and before I knew it, it was 9:45. I thought to myself, “yeah, my gym is open 24 hours, but no one will be working there, and it might be dangerous for me to go alone this late…”, so I decided to do this Sailor Moon workout by Cassey Ho (the creator of the blog and youtube channel Blogilates. If you’ve never heard of her, you should definitely check her videos out. They’re amazing.). Let me just tell you, I just know my legs are going to be hella wobbly tomorrow. Here’s the link to the print out and video of the workout I just did:
<> I am very proud of myself though. I am becoming fit and healthy one day at a time. : )

Also, it’s time to think about Christmas already! About a month ago when I was looking around my mall’s cute Asian stuff store, I bought a couple of sheets of these Korean Christmas stickers that are SO cute. I am thinking that I will draw up 3 different designs of my own Christmas cards, make copies of about 10 of each design, and then personalize them with their own cute stickers and messages. Good idea, huh? Since my mom is having me go to get the car tuned up tomorrow morning, perhaps I should bring a sketchbook with me while I’m waiting so that I can draw up the designs for those.

And then there’s SCHOOL! Next week marks my last week of classes at community college ever! So I have to bust my ass for final tests and projects and presentations… But tonight is Sailor Moon night. ; ) I am on episode 121/200, and episode 128 marks the first episode of the fourth season, Sailor Moon SuperS! : D

It seems like there’s so many reasons for me to celebrate! I tried to get myself a little gift today at Victoria’s Secret that only would’ve cost me $2.50+tax because I have a $10 off anything coupon, but the nearest VS near me was all out of stock of the PINK water bottles! And everything in the store was messy looking and the employee wasn’t very helpful… It pisses me off, because in my extremely short-lived experience working at Hot Topic, my boss taught me to keep folding things to make the store look good at all times, yet here this woman was waltzing around the store like she had nothing to do, when she should have been cleaning up the damn place. WHY AM I NOT AN EMPLOYEE SOMEWHERE, I WOULD BE SO DAMN GOOD AT IT okay I’m done ranting now. ; P

I really enjoy having pictures in my blog posts, but I don’t really have any this time. : P I’ll give you a random picture of one of my favorite Sailor Moon screen caps.

Black Friday

I had the weirdest dream last night in which I had sex with two different guys just hours apart from each other, and one of them was this guy that I had Biology with my Freshman year of high school, so I did the total creep and looked him up in the year book and then looked him up on facebook, and he is really really good looking/cute now. He’s got a girlfriend from the looks of the photos on his facebook, but hot damn! In the dream, I was walking up this hill that is right by my house (and it was snowing), and I came across this guy, let’s call him Stephen, sitting on the ground next to these cardboard boxes. I noticed that there were little kittens in the boxes, and he was petting them. He was wearing skinny jeans and Vans, and I would love to get with a guy that dressed like that. With tattoos and pierced ears…

Which reminds me, Tom Delonge (the guitarist from blink-182, duh!) posted a photo of himself doing some charity work on Thanksgiving for feeding the homeless. He’s almost 37 now, but he’s so gorgeous! *sigh*

In other news, I went to the gym today! Again! On Sunday, I’ll have been going for a solid week! Since I don’t have a job and I am taking 13 credits at school, I have plenty of time in my days to justify working out every day. And I’m feeling so good about myself! : )

I got my hair did today, just a little bang trim and my hair lady also used the texturing shears to cut some chunks out of my hair too. It feels a lot lighter. : o Image

And this is a motivational poster that I made myself! My mom said that she wants me to make her one too. : ) Image

Lots of smileys today! : D I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, I know that I did. I slept a shit load last night and I even went to bed before midnight because that turkey made me so damn tired.

Also, I just downloaded the Pink Nation app onto my MacBook because I thought I could see what my little freebie is or whatever, but it doesn’t seem to work on computers. Only iPhones. What about us folk that don’t have iPhones? You bastards! grrrrr

Anyway, I hope you have a good day. ; )

One November Morning

So I’m at the closest Starbucks to the Portland Airport. I did a tiny bit of research for my Meteorology presentation on a weather event of my choosing (I chose the Ice Age!). So now I can justify writing a blog entry. : ) (Did you know that, according to Wikipedia, the Earth has gone through 5 major Ice Ages? I’m going to check and make sure that is an accurate claim. : P)

I don’t have class until 2, but I had to drop my mom off at work early today, so I’ve been at this Starbucks for about an hour now. It was really packed when I got here around 11, but now there’s only about 8 people here including myself. : ) I love hanging out in coffee shops and I recently started drinking coffee semi-regularly. It’s a cozy atmosphere. I really want to work at a Starbucks or Peet’s Coffee. After this quarter is over, I’m going to try my best to finally get a job! I really want to make my own money so I can pay for my own shit and buy clothes I want and manga and a 3DS and ghdlgkhsdlh. Awwww yeah, a Starbucks employee just gave me a little holiday  gingerbread sample. : D

I wanted to mention on here that I am going to do my best to make exercising a part of my regular routine because I want to live a healthy life and I don’t want to gain any more weight! I used to be like 20 pounds lighter! ;_; But I still have a loving relationship with my body because I like my curves. = ] My body is perfect for birthing a child, but I really don’t want to do that yet. : P

I want to get one of those clear plastic Victoria’s Secret water bottles because I am becoming a whore for PINK products and I think having that pop-cap water bottle at the gym would be more convenient than the twist-top that my current water bottle has.

Also, Miley Cyrus is sort of my fitspo icon. I just really like her style, and I love wearing my hair in the bun style that she always wears when she’s going to the gym.

By the way, I have now officially watched 106/200 episodes of Sailor Moon. I’m over half-way through! I’ll definitely finish watching all 200 before Summer 2013 when the new Sailor moon series begins: <>

I think I’m going to look around in some of the shops around the Cascade Station area before I leave to go to class just for shits and giggles! But I’m not going to bring my wallet inside because I have to save the money I have for gas and food.

こんばんは <3

Well, I officially finished watching Sailor Moon R tonight. So far, the Sailor Moon series is getting better with age. I also watched 2 episodes of Sailor Moon S, which is bringing back some childhood memories. I have now watched 91/200 episodes. I think I’ll bake a cake or something to celebrate watching 100 episodes. Funnily (is this even a word?) enough, I have episodes 100-103 on VHS from way back in the day, so I know them by heart in English. It will be interesting to see how the English version differs from the original Japanese version, as it always does SO much. Also, episode 101 IS Usagi’s birthday episode, so a cake would totally make sense. ;D Oh, and the Sailor Moon S movie is the Ice Princess one! I LOVED that movie when I was little.
*Mental note to self: watch the Sailor Moon S movie after you’ve watched episode 116, because according to Wikipedia, episode 116 released in Japan on December 3, 1994, and the Sailor Moon S movie released in Japan on December 4, 1994. I like to be chronologically accurate. : )

Also, a random thought, why did 3 of my facebook friends just post about the new Twilight movie? I loved the first movie because it was just so BAD that it was entertaining. When I saw New Moon in theaters, I was bored out of my skull. It wasn’t entertaining-bad, it was just plain bad. So basically, I haven’t even wanted to see the other Twilight movies. The books were boring too. In my opinion, it’s just a shitty series. But honestly, I have wanted to rewatch the first movie for the lulz. And it’s got a bitchin’ soundtrack, believe it or not.

I’m enjoying blogging so far. : )

Here, enjoy a really weird picture I took of myself today on Photo Booth with my bass. : P

Some little things about me

I love Larabars because they are healthy and pretty much always have 5 ingredients in them or less (and it’s all natural stuff). : )

I just started reading Onward by Howard Schultz, which is about the story of how Starbucks came to be and its journey as a company. It’s easy to read, and it’s interesting so far. I checked it out at the library. Gotta love free books! : )

I have a cat named Emma who showed up at our doorstep 2 years ago and has not left since I fed her. She was extremely skinny when she first showed up, but now she eats and sleeps a lot and she’s nice and healthy! My mom and I love her. : 3

One of the first (if not THE first) pictures I took with her:

Picture of her just a few days ago:

She’s beautiful.

I love to bake.

And I love to color.

And my mom decided to make some french toast, so I’m going to go help out in the kitchen!

My name is Kelly, I’m 21 years old, and I am a firm believer in enjoying life to the fullest, because there’s only one life that we know we have, so we may as well have fun being here!

I label myself as an agnostic, but I feel like reincarnation makes sense to me. I think it would make sense that new souls to this world are the people that fuck up the most in life, and as the souls keep coming back, they get to be wiser and more experienced people, and then when they finally figure everything out, their soul graduates and doesn’t have to go through our world again.

I believe myself to be a rational person, so I do not by any means believe this 100%, I just personally think it makes sense. I just watched Religiousity, a documentary on religion by Bill Maher, and he said, “doubt is the only appropriate response for human beings.”, which I completely agree with. I don’t think that anyone should believe in God or religion or whatever 100%, because face it, no one will EVER know the truth until after they’re dead.

Anyway, I recently deleted my tumblr account because it sucked so much of my time away, and one of my close friends described what I got out of tumblr (and what he gets out of Reddit) as “mindless entertainment”. That I just scroll through my dashboard for pages and pages and it didn’t ever engage my brain, it was just “LOL REBLOG” and the occasional text post.

I’ve decided that I would like to have a blog where I actually write meaningful things and have somewhere to share myself with others, and maybe even think a little bit. ; )

So after a quick websearch, I decided to give WordPress a try, because LifeHacker describes it as an ideal blog site for long posts. So here we are. : )

Something I would like to stop doing is starting sentences with “So”. It seems I do that a lot. : P

Anyhow, here are some things about the current Kelly:

  • I am watching the original Sailor Moon anime from start to finish and I have watched 80/200 so far. I love it because it’s cheesy and cute, but it has also gotten pretty real a few times, which definitely caught me off guard.
  • I am in my final quarter of community college and I will have my Associates Degree by 2013. : D
  • I am not totally positive if/when I am transferring to a 4-year university, but I am considering attending University of Washington next Fall (I haven’t even applied yet). If I do transfer somewhere, I want to major in Japanese because I love everything about Japan, and no, I’m not the weeaboo your mother warned you about. I prefer the label “raging otaku” or “kawaii princess”, thank you very much. ;P

I will commit to posting at least once a week.
